Eoliennes was a way of put to act the pieces of Punto in Aria, these pieces turn making shadows on the floor as “clouds of lingerie”. On the floor, there are casts of swifts in concrete.

Women condition evolved from a very sedentary role; pregnancy, education of the kids, being the “ornament” of men, tasks of women were associated to immobility, inertia, to “pretend” but not to “do”. In this era, we have a dynamization of the second sex, that values movement, lightness of body, and should end the image of static and handcuffed women.
Nevertheless, I think there are still many issues where female condition is still struggling.
In this installation, there are elements that put together evoke an ambiance of entrapment concerning the feminine condition: a woman trapped between an image of femininity, lace clouds turning in circles, and, the swift, a bird with excellent flying skills but who, without a step or a proper unevenness on the floor is incapable to take off.
