Pale pink ballerina toe shoes enter a surface of black engraving ink.
The dancer makes simple warm up exercises. As the performance advances the toe shoes get dirtier and dirtier. At the end, movement becomes impossible, the ballerina has to take off the shoes and leave them on the sticky-dark surface.
The ink dries leaving the engravings of the toe shoes apparent in the middle of a dark hilly landscape.
